Q: Is Liingo’s Home Try-On really free with no obligation?
Yep! You do need to enter a valid credit or debit card to get the free home try-on pairs mailed to you, but you won’t be charged anything unless you don’t return your kit within the 5-day trial period.
Shipping both ways is totally free, of course. If you don’t like how the glasses look or feel on you, simply return them.
Q: How does the Home Try-On work?
You get to select up to 5 frames to try out at a time. Select the frames you want to try on by clicking the “Try at Home for Free” button to add them to your home try-on cart.
Then check out by entering a credit or debit card (which won’t be charged). Your 5-day trial starts the day you receive the trial pairs.
When you’re done, go back to Liingo to make your purchase and then ship the trial frames back.
Or, if you didn’t like any of the glasses, just pack them back into the box and return the frames. There’s a prepaid return label underneath the original shipping label for free returns. That’s it!
Q: Are all frames available for Home Try-On?
Unfortunately, not all of Liingo’s frames are always available for home try-on. The majority of their most popular frames are usually available, but if not, you can always try them on virtually by using your webcam to see how they will look on you.

Q: What do I need to order a pair of prescription glasses from Liingo Eyewear?
You’ll need 2 things: a valid glasses prescription – contact lens prescriptions don’t count! – plus your pupillary distance (PD) measurement. Your PD is simply the distance between your pupils as measured in millimeters.

Q: How do I enter my prescription when ordering?

Q: What kinds of frames does Liingo Eyewear sell?
Liingo manufactures their own glasses and lenses for both men and women. You won’t find any designer brands on their site (which is why their prices are lower).
Their frames are made of plastic, metal, a combination of the two, or titanium, and come in all styles from cat eye to aviator to round and square frames.
There are multiple color options, and you can even filter by face shape if you don’t know what will look good on you. Several frames can be made as either eyeglasses or sunglasses, plus there are varying sizes to fit different faces.
Q: Does Liingo sell kids glasses?
No, they only have glasses for adults (or adult-size faces).
Q: What kinds of lenses does Liingo Eyewear have?
In keeping with their cost structure, Liingo keeps it simple with their lens offerings too. They have:
Optical Lenses:
- Polycarbonate (1.59-index) – These are the standard premium lenses included in every pair of glasses. They’re lighter and thinner than regular 1.50-index lenses, in addition to more impact-resistant. They also contain UV-blocking to protect your eyes.
- 1.67 High-Index (+$49) – for stronger prescriptions, these lenses are even thinner and lighter than polycarbonate. Recommended if your prescription strength is greater than +3.50 or -4.50.
Sunglass Lenses:
- Polarized Polycarbonate – included in all pairs
Prescription Type:
- Single-vision – one field of vision correction (near, far, or reading). Included in the price of any pair.

- Non-prescription – plano lenses if you don’t need any vision correction
- Frame Only – if you don’t even want lenses installed (or plan to get them elsewhere), you can just get the frame

Q: What if I don’t know what kind of lens I should get?
No worries, you can always contact Liingo’s customer service for help figuring out which lens options are best for you. They can also help you figure out which glasses will fit you best too.
Fit
Q: How do I know if a particular frame will fit me well?
There are a couple things you can do. You can use Liingo’s Find My Fit scanner with your device’s webcam to measure your face and determine which frames will fit your features.
Alternatively, you can also find three measurements on your current pair of glasses (usually inside one arm). These correspond to your lens width, bridge width, and arm length.
Once you have these, enter the values in and Liingo will search for frames that match or are close to your current pair’s size.
Q: What if I like my new glasses but they don’t fit perfectly?
You can take your glasses into any optical shop to get adjustments made. Liingo is willing to reimburse any adjustment costs up to $25 if the store charges you and you provide a receipt as proof.

With standard (free) shipping, you can expect to receive your new glasses in about 2 weeks. It takes around 4 days from the day of purchase for Liingo to make your glasses and lenses, at which point they ship it to you.
