Is GlassesUSA.com Legit?
Indeed it is. The company has been around since 2008 and has sold tens of thousands of glasses online to both US and international customers around the world.
They are certified resellers of many designer brands including Ray-Ban, Oakley, Michael Kors, Coach and Prada. They also design their own fashionable eyeglasses in-house too.
Does GlassesUSA.com Have a Home Try-On Program?
GlassesUSA is currently beta-testing a free home try-on program in select U.S. markets. Basically, it allows you to choose up to two pairs of glasses to try on at home for up to 14 days with prescription lenses. Shipping is free both ways.
You can get up to two pairs of glasses with single-vision lenses OR one pair of bifocal or progressive lenses to try out for free before purchasing.
If you don’t like the glasses you’ve selected, you’ll need to return them before the trial period is over if you don’t want to be charged.
Does GlassesUSA.com Sell Real Ray-Bans?
Indeed they do. It’s understandable to be wary given some of the nice discounts available, especially with rampant knock-offs you can find everywhere online. The Certified Ray-Ban Store sticker is displayed at the top right when you visit their Ray-Ban section.
Where Does GlassesUSA.com Manufacture Their Glasses?
The company’s main optical lab is located in Atlanta, GA, where they produce and ship glasses from for U.S. orders. They also have labs in Israel and Thailand for international orders.
What If I Don’t Know What My Prescription Is Or Lost My Prescription?
You can check the strength of your current pair of glasses using GlassesUSA’s prescription scanner. You’ll need a smartphone, a computer, and a standard-size magnetic card (for ex: a credit or debit card) for this.
Important: the scanner won’t give you an updated prescription if your vision has changed. It will only read your current prescription from your glasses, and only works on single-vision lenses.
How Accurate is GlassesUSA’s Prescription Scanner?
It’s quite accurate, though you may find minor variances from your actual prescription, especially if it contains an axis.
For example, your cylinder strength might be + or – .25 off, or your pupillary distance measurement may be a couple millimeters off. However, these are pretty minor and aren’t that noticeable in terms of vision correction.
Can I Get Prism Glasses from GlassesUSA.com?
Yes! If you have a prism indicated in your prescription, make sure to select the checkbox when filling the form out with your Rx. You’ll also need to send in a copy of your doctor’s prescription and pay an additional $30 for prism correction.

Does GlassesUSA.com Offer Any Payment Plans?
Yes, they offer an interest-free payment option called “SplitIt”, which allows you to pay for your purchase in 3 monthly installments using a Visa or Mastercard.
Do note that you’ll need the full amount of your order available on your credit line in order to do this. What they do is hold the entire amount on your card, but only one-third of the total actually posts to your statement each billing cycle.
Does GlassesUSA.com Take Insurance?
Yes, GlassesUSA is an in-network provider with select vision insurance plans including UnitedHealthcare, Spectera, Lincoln Financial Group, and Medigold.
You can also purchase prescription glasses or sunglasses and submit a claim for out-of-network reimbursement from other vision insurance providers like VSP, EyeMed, or Davis Vision.

They have a 14-day no-questions-asked return policy. You can either exchange your glasses for another pair, get a full refund, or receive 100% store credit for your purchase.

Does GlassesUSA.com Have a Warranty?
Besides their 14-day return/exchange policy, all glasses come with a 365-day manufacturer’s warranty against defects on the frame or lens. However, this comes in the form of a 50% store credit only.

They do! All standard shipping orders within the U.S. and Canada qualify for free shipping with no minimum amount. Return shipping is also free if you make a return within 14 days of receiving your glasses.
How Long Does It Take to Get Glasses from GlassesUSA.com?
If you don’t have a complicated or high prescription, you can generally expect to receive your glasses in about 2 weeks in the U.S. and Canada.
Their standard free shipping delivery is between 7-10 business days, plus production time of 3 business days for single-vision lenses.

Yes, they ship internationally to almost every country in the world. Shipping costs between $21.95 – $24.95 for orders delivering to countries outside the U.S. (other than Canada).
